Train the Trainer Event

Jeff Gullikson, CGCS, is host to a local school for a day of STEM learning at Kalispel Golf & Country Club.
Please consider volunteering and/or just viewing how Jeff prepares for the students before they arrive, how the field trip is organized on-site, and listen in as the students go through the stations. This interaction may help you to host an event at your own facility!
You can volunteer if you like, or, just step back and observe the activities. Feel free to come anytime throughout the day.

Schedule:
9:00 – 9:20 a.m. Students arrive and introduction
9:30 – 11:10 a.m. Lab rotation including Stream Flow, Water to Energy, Macroinvertebrates, and Water Physics.
11:10 – 12:00 p.m. Lunch
12:00 – 1:40 p.m. Lab rotation including Soils, Putting, Turfgrass Jeopardy, and Turf Tools.
1:40 – 2:00 p.m. Final Comments
A Q & A session will follow the event after the students depart.
