HB 2051 has been introduced in Washington state.

As notified by GCSAA Government Affairs:

“HB 2051 has been introduced in Washington state. Generally, the bill would adopt California style regulations limiting, restricting, or banning altogether the use of gasoline powered equipment starting in 2027. This is not limited to handheld equipment such as blowers or chainsaws. It also includes larger equipment such as ride-on mowers, fairway mowers, etc.”

It could be on the agenda for a January 23, 2024 at 7:00pm (EST) hearing in the House Energy and Environment committee on Jan. 23.
